Purpose
The scheme aims to provide self-employment to the unemployed in urban and rural areas. People with disabilities and blind people are also eligible to avail benefits under this scheme.
Scheme Eligibility Criteria:
Age: 18 to 65 years
Eligibility:
Applicant should have passed minimum standard IV or
Training / Experience: Must have at least three months training from a private institute or at least one month training from a government recognized institute in the field of the proposed occupation or have at least 1 year experience in the same activity or be an inherited artisan.
There is no measure of income.
Maximum limit for bank loan:
RS.8.00 lakh for industry sector.
Rs.8.00 lakh for service sector.
RS.8.00 lakh for commercial sector.
